On May 19, a stage of Espresso Italiano Champion, the barista championship organized by the Italian Espresso National Institute (Inei) with the technical partnership of the International Institute of Coffee Tasters (Iliac), will take place at the La Spaziale headquarters, in Casalecchio di Reno (Bologna).
The aim of the competition is to highlight the professionalism and skill of baristas from around the world in preparing Italian Espresso and Italian Cappuccino with reference to the conformity profiles of the two products, which are certified according to the technical specifications for the certification of sensory quality of the coffee trademarked as Espresso Italiano and Cappuccino Italiano. During the competition, participants will have eleven minutes to:

REGULATIONS

- calibrate the grinder
- prepare 4 espressos
- prepare 4 cappuccinos
